Networks
The link builder supports the 15 affiliate networks esbconnect campaigns most commonly route through. They're seeded in the catalogue and ready to use. Visit the Networks page to see the full list with the SubID parameter each one uses.
Common networks
- Affiliate Window (AWIN) — the largest UK affiliate network. esbconnect has a partnership with AWIN. Most retail brands run via AWIN.
- Impact Radius — a major US-headquartered network. Uses
subId1for the click reference andu=for the destination URL. - Tradedoubler — European network. Uses
epi=andurl=. - Commission Junction — large US affiliate network. Uses
SID=andurl=. - LinkShare Corporation (Rakuten) — global network. Uses
u1=andmurl=. - Webgains, Affiliate Future, Affilinet, Public Idees UK, Natexo, Performance Horizon (Partnerize), TradeTracker UK, 3 Mobile Email — supported, less frequently used.
- Direct (no network) — for links that go straight from the email to the brand's site without an affiliate network. The link still carries esbconnect tracking parameters; it just skips the affiliate redirect.
For every network, the tool inserts the correct parameters in the correct format. You don't need to remember which is which. Picking the network from the dropdown is enough.
If you need a network that isn't in the list, ask a developer to add it before generating the link.
